Growing Season: This series combines my personal artistic development with the natural growth of my plants, particularly inspired by the vibrant textures, colours, and patterns on their leaves.
The concept is incredibly simple: capture the changing plants, enveloped by the sun's rays. Take a moment to observe how the colours shift as they grow, first subtle, then more saturated and mature.
Halfway through painting this series, I realised it wasn't just about the plants' growth but also about me as an artist. The first layers were very tentative and delicate.
However, with each subsequent layer, the colours became bolder and more striking, and the marks left by brushes and other tools became bolder.
This series is about self-discovery, self-assurance, and self-belief.
